Tala Stephens – Certified Personal Trainer

I grew up in the small town of Myrtle Point, Oregon, on 23 acres in the forest. Participating in sports and the great outdoors has always been a part of my life. I graduated from Southern Oregon University in 1998 with a BS in Health Promotion/Fitness Management. For years I worked with high risk youth in Oregon before moving to Santa Cruz, California. In Santa Cruz, I was the recreation coordinator and senior house parent at a group home before joining the training team of 24 Hour Fitness in 2002.

Unfortunately, 24 Hour Fitness seemed more interested in sales than in quality training. So after three years with them, I decided I needed something less sales driven and more about the results and journey.

Fitness for Every Body is a private studio where anyone can feel comfortable, supported and motivated to exercise. Despite it’s small size, I am able to fully accommodate everyone — from the nervous beginner to the experienced athlete. And I now focus strictly on my clients and their needs rather than concern myself with sales goal after sales goal.

Exercise and change is a big decision. Some people, afraid to fail, never try. Some worry about the cost. Some can’t imagine themselves living a different life. I will do everything I can to help you succeed, but the first step is yours.
